Often referred to as the conventional motorhome, the Class A is entirely constructed on a bare, specially designed motor vehicle chassis. Average length varies from 21 to 40 feet. Called the "home away from home," the Class A is fully equipped with all the conveniences and ideal for short trips to fulltime living. Available with gas and diesel engines. New models cost from under $50,000 to $400,000 or more (some custom Class A's sell for more than $1,000,000).
