Our History
Thank you for your interest in Colerain RV, your Ohio RV Dealer and RV sales professionals. We are based in Cincinnati, Ohio and are the premier provider of RV sales, RV service, RV parts and RV accessories in our industry. We look forward to doing business with you. Colerain RV is a family operated business founded by Charles and Lolly Jung in 1968. Charlie was the only full time person with the new company. Lolly was raising five children, 3 of which, Chuck, Steve, and Sharon now work at Colerain RV. The original location consisted of little more than a shack with an inventory of about 10 campers. The original camper brands were Mallard, Beeline and Thunderbird.By 1970 business had grown to a point where Charlie needed help. Colerain RV hired 2 part time firemen to help with service and another employee to help with running titles. Also in 1970, we added Starcraft campers to our line-up, a long relationship we still enjoy today. Sales rapidly increased to hit 92 units in 1972. Then came the oil embargo in 1973. RV sales were brought to a near stand still as families feared there would be no gasoline for cars to tow their campers. Many RV dealers and manufacturers went out of business.
After a year, things started to grow again, business increased steadily and Colerain RV began adding more lines of campers. With the increase of both business and inventory, Colerain RV matched the demand with a growth of personnel adding 14 people to the workforce by 1991. Then the next set back occurred in the form of The Gulf War. Again, RV dealers and manufacturers went out business. Colerain RV, now an established RV dealer, weathered the storm well. Since then, Colerain RV has continued to grow moving to our current location at Struble Road in 1996.
Colerain RV has recently expanded again completing construction on a new service building to better serve our family of customers. We now have over 70 employees in 3 locations, and have won numerous National Sales and Service Awards. More brands of campers and RVs have been added over the years. We invite you to browse our web site and our manufacturers' web sites to explore these RV products and RV services. We would love for you to visit and remember, you're always Welcome here.
Thank You
Charlie and Lolly Jung
